On this particular day my flight was delayed and I was stuck in the departure lounge for over six hours. When this happens it helps to be at an airport that is as interesting architecturally (and has as many shops and restaurants) as Suvarnabhumi International Airport, in Bangkok, Thailand.
This particular image was taken with the Nikon D300 and the 17-55mm F/2.8 DX Nikkor lens. The image was shot exposed manually at 800 ISO, NEF-RAW and processed in Adobe Bridge, ACR and Photoshop CS3. Processing was restricted to very basic image processing (Fill Light, Recovery and Clarity) in ACR 4.6 and Photoshop itself was only used for resizing and saving as a JPEG file.
