Rumors (and some pretty solid indicators in markets around the world) say that Nikon lenses (and cameras) will be going up in price in all locations, world wide, by the end of the month.
Prices are generally expected to go up 10% at this time, but it is hard to know exactly what will happen in all the various markets where Nikon sells it’s digital (and film) imaging products.
Some markets have significantly higher prices anyway, so we will just have to wait and see what transpires.
The smart money is betting on price increases though, so if you are planning to buy Nikon camera bodies and lenses any time soon, it is probably better to do it right now.
