A big problem for photographers and other “road warriors”, who use MacBook Pro’s as both their traveling and home/office computers, is transitioning back and forth from the traveling to the “desktop” mode.
Typically we all use a lot more external devices when we are back at our desks, including powered USB hubs, large firewire drives, input devices, and external monitors. No matter how hard we try this usually ends up in a tangled mess of wires that have to be re-organized every time we plug ourselves back into our desks. The solution for this problem is a good docking station and BookEndz Docking Stations are about as good as it gets.
